Purpose of the event is to engage members of the BCS community in a safe and family environment that fosters learning and creativity through a colorful kite flying experience that builds long-lasting memories.

Kite Fest 2019 is full of fun, exciting activities: Kite making station, Coloring station, Giant bubbles, Chalk, Frozen t-shirt challenge, 3 legged-race, Kite competition.  Lil’-Wranglers preformed during Kite Fest to add extra entertainment to the music that was playing through the event.

This event is truly amazing that one day out of the year can bring a whole community together to fly kites and play fun games in a park.  It shows that anyone can put on an event like Kite Fest even if you don’t have a ton of money or a big-name company if you market an event correctly that you will have an unbelievable turnout and create memories for a life time. With the correct marketing and advertising of the event it can make a great event with getting sponsors and volunteers to help to make it successful and a long-lasting event for years to come. Getting to help put on this event is incredible and getting to truly see the BCS community involved in a fun family event.

This group created and put on an amazing event. The implementation of the event was prefect and not only did they make it a family-friendly community event, but also an amazing event for students as finals are around the corner to relax and fly kites in the beautiful spring weather.

I helped with holding the bubble machine during the kite fest pop-up promotional video.  I also helped clean up the pop-up event and the Kite Fest event at Wolf Pen Creek with bringing the supplies back to ALGS.  Finally, I helped with the return of the trailer and lending the trailer to be used during the event.
